Ukraine Frequency Bands And Cell Signal Blocker Device Policies
Ukrainian Major Mobile Network Operators And Frequency Bands
Ukraine's main mobile network operators use multiple frequency bands to support network services. The following is the frequency band used by the main operators in Ukraine:
kyivstar
- 2g (GSM): 900 MHz (BAND 8), 1800 MHz (BAND 3)
- 3g (uMTS): 2100 MHz (band 1)
- 4G (LTE): 800 MHz (BAND 20), 1800 MHz (BAND 3), 2600 MHz (BAND 7)
- 5G (NR): 3500 MHz (BAND N78) The current 5G network is still in the test and deployment stage in Ukraine.
Vodafone ukraine
- 2g (GSM): 900 MHz (BAND 8), 1800 MHz (BAND 3)
- 3g (uMTS): 2100 MHz (band 1)
- 4G (LTE): 800 MHz (BAND 20), 1800 MHz (BAND 3), 2600 MHz (BAND 7)
- 5G (NR): 3500 MHz (BAND N78) -The current 5G network is still in the test and deployment stage in Ukraine.
Lifecell

Ukraine has restrictions on the use of cell signal blocker
In Ukraine, it is illegal to use cellphone signal jammers. The punishment of illegal use of cell blockers may include huge fines and may even bear criminal liability in some cases. Article 30 of Ukraine's "Law on Ukraine Radio Frequency Resources" states that the use of radio electronic equipment to interfere with the operation of other radio electronic equipment or cause obstacles to the work of radio frequency permit users. The institution responsible for supervising Ukraine's radio spectrum is the National Communications and Information Supervision Commission (NCCIR). Only enterprises authorized by NCCIR for specific purposes (such as testing equipment or ensure national security) are allowed to use interference technology.
